Hello! My name is Kacie, and I’m a Limited Licensed Counselor (LLC) in the state of Michigan, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and EMDR-trained through EMDRIA. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 14 years working in healthcare, including many years as a licensed diagnostic medical sonographer specializing in women’s health and oncology. This experience, combined with my background in a first responder and military family, gives me a unique understanding of the physical and emotional challenges that come with high-stress professions and service-related experiences. It also deeply informs my holistic, compassionate approach to mental health.

I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate issues related to sex, intimacy, and relationships, as well as addiction, trauma, women’s health, parenting, and the unique stressors faced by first responders/military and their families. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices, tailoring each session to meet your individual needs.

Therapy is a powerful space for self-discovery, healing, and growth. Whether you’re looking to process past experiences, improve your relationships, or simply reconnect with yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmentalenvironment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningfulchanges in your life.
